The China-Burma-India Edition of YANK on the internet has been adapted from original issues of YANK. All stories and features are related to the China-Burma-India (CBI) Theater of World War II and have been faithfully reproduced using original photos, illustrations and stories from the newspaper. The result is a modern day internet version of YANK that has the "look and feel" of the original magazine.

  Original CBI Editions are rare. They were printed in India and the quality of the paper is generally inferior to that of other editions printed in other parts of the world. The stories presented here have been taken from various editions of YANK. While all are CBI related subjects, not all are from CBI Editions. For this reason, some of the publication dates indicated may not match with the CBI Edition in which the story appeared.
