DENEEN CUT
On this spot T/S Patrick Deneen, U.S.A., lost
his life in a rock slide while engaged in blasting
thru the Burma Road. This tablet was erected by
fellow American soldiers & Chinese engineers
in memory of one who died in faithful perform
-ance of hazardous duty 17 January 1945.
