• Deployed to CIB aboard USS America Feb 15, 1943-April 1944: First Lieutenent, Company C, 835th Signal Service BN, LEDO, ASSAM, India Note: Company C would have been stationed in Karachi per 835th Battalion notes far below, unless redesignated to Kweilin, Kunming, Ledo, Calcutta, Malir, Kandy (Ceylon)
• Executive Officer: same as above April 1944-Sept 1944
• Captain Company Commander (Sept 1944-Oct 26, 1945, Company A, 3199th Signal Service BN, CBI, Lead team out of Calcutta back to Ft Sheridan
